Hey Everyone! My first Disney trip was back in 1984 with my best friend and our families. We drove from PA to Fl with our campers and stayed at Fort Wilderness Resort. During that trip, little did I know we were making memories to last a lifetime. A few years later, my family visited again, this time with my grandparents.
Fast forward to 2008, my husband and I took our 5 year old Son. We stayed at Disney’s All-Star Movie Resort. That was it, we were hooked! Walking into the Magic Kingdom for the first time with our Son, brought me right back to my childhood and the memories (and tears) came rushing back. To experience it with your own child is truly magical. The awe and excitement in his eyes was overwhelming to say the least. I imagine this is exactly how my parents felt when they took me for the first time!
Since that trip, we have traveled to Disney several times a year. I have expierenced it as a child, teenager, with my son, with my husband, and with that same best friend as an adult! We are now Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Pass Holders. Over the years we have stayed at Fort Wilderness Campground, All-Star Movies, Port Orleans French Quarter, Caribbean Beach, Boardwalk Inn, Fort Wilderness Lodge, Bolder Ridge Villas @ Wilderness Lodge, Copper Creek Villas @ Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk Villas, Beach Club, Beach Club Villas, Old Key West Resort and Saratoga Springs Resort. With going so much, we have become Disney “Pros”, so why not help others plan their vacations?
