Fort Meade Freedom Inn Dining Facility Fort Meade's Freedom Inn was honored as the "Large Garrison Winner" of the 2011 U.S. Army Philip A. Award for Excellence in Food Service program.

Award for Excellence in Food Service program, a year-long event that focuses on the overall operation and effectiveness of Army facilities throughout the world. It was built in 2006, and is a beautiful 27,550-square-foot dining facility. The 9.5-million-dollar cafeteria serves three meals a day and 1,227 military personnel in 90 minutes. resh desserts. The facility offers five dining areas and a veranda, 10 wall-mounted televisions and three cashiers with a separate carry-out facility. The cost is $2.50 for breakfast and $4.60 for lunch and dinner. Operating Hours:

Lunch 1115-1245 Monday - Friday
Dinner 1700-1830 Monday - Friday

WEEKENDAYS AND HOLIDAYS
Breakfast 0800-0930 Saturday - Sunday
Lunch 1100-1300 Saturday - Sunday
Dinner 1700-1830 Saturday - Sunday

NOTE: The Freedom Inn serves retiree and civilian employees on Monday and Friday only all day.
