I have been spending a lot of time crappie fishing and putting out brush piles. The crappie bite has been good lately but not sure how all this rain will affect them. Hopefully not much. The water warmed up from around 46 to 55 degrees this past week and some of the fish have moved shallow. Now is a great time to get out and catch some. Give me a call.

Went out in the wind today to see how the crappie bite is going. Was not disappointed. Caught some nice fish including a very large magnolia crappie (aka black nose). I am running striper and crappie trips this winter. Give me a call and schedule a trip!

Another good day fishing Saturday with James and his son in law Levi. Boated double digit stripers with the biggest coming in at 26 lbs.

Yesterday was one of the best days fishing on Smith Lake. Ed came out by himself and once we found the stripers we were catching the entire morning. Boated and released 20 that weighed from 12 to 26.5 pounds. We left them biting. Didn’t get pictures of them all.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Havent posted in a while but we are still fishing. With the cooler water temperatures the fishing is only going to get better. Graham caught this 30 pound striper this week.

Got out for some crappie fishing yesterday. Couldn't catch many on brush piles so we went dock shooting an caught some hammers!
