David Wood is principal and at Our Lady of the Wayside School. During his tenure, David has brought a strong sense of calm to the school as well as consistency. His focus on academics and safety has allowed OLW to continue to excel during this school year. David is a lifelong learner working on his doctorate and leading by example. His integrity, strong moral compass and strong work ethic make him so worthy of this nomination!
"David works tirelessly for the students of Our Lady of the Wayside. In the last 8 months, he has lead the way through a hugely successful e-learning program, back to in-person learning, and providing a safe space for our kids to learn and grow. David has been the driving force behind a huge number of school improvements including air conditioning, new outdoor play space, and a lunch space to make the school better in every way," a staff member.
