Day Break Entertainment was a vision that came to fruition January 1st, 2010 when Ernestine Neal a gospel artist from Lancaster, CA made the decision after having too many bad experiences with independent labels and management companies, would make a home for Artist of every genre of music who had true talent, and were tired of being taken advantage of by people who had no real knowledge of the i
ndustry, yet filled artist’s heads with empty promises of fame. She also wanted to create a platform for anyone who had a desire to be in the entertainment industry as an actor, actress, model etc… and were passionate and committed to their craft, willing to work hard to get to the next level. After presenting her entire plan and Vision to her husband Tevin Neal Sr. , became interested in the idea and immediately came aboard in full support. This company is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. In February 2011 we relocated to Arlington, TX where immediately we began to revamp and come up with new ideas that would better our company and the services we offered. At first, we only specialized in Artist management and contract negotiation; but other opportunities presented themselves and now we specialize in artist development, artist management, entertainment and music industry consulting, contract negotiation, press kit, and presentation to major labels. We currently work very closely with Sony (BMG) Music Entertainment. Ernestine Neal, (CEO) of Day Break Entertainment currently has a contract with Sony as an artist and Song writer. (COO) of the company is her managing partner. Tevin and Ernestine both have experience and knowledge in the music industry. Tevin has a background in artist management as well as 15 plus years in contract negotiation; negotiating over 50 million dollars in contracts total. And Ernestine has experience as an artist manager as well, and to her credit landed an all boy group ( K-Starz) out of Long Beach, CA a summer tour deal with Inter scope Records . Together they have over 25 years of experience in artist development, consulting, & press kits. Day Break Entertainment has a dynamic team, and it is our desire to see our artist reach their full potential in the entertainment and music industry. What sets us apart from other companies in this business is, we do it with integrity and a personal touch.
