The National Contract Management Association's (NCMA) premier event for contract management professionals, World Congress 2017 has selected ZYGOS’ thought leaders and acquisition professionals to provide an educational presentation at its flagship conference. The 2017 NCMA World Congress will be held July 23-26, 2017 at the Navy Pier Convention Center, Chicago, Illinois.

March 31, 2016 - ZYGOS Consulting Awarded First Prime Contract: 5-Year Single Award BPA with Department of Justice

The Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) awarded ZYGOS Consulting a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and first Call Order to provide EOIR Court and Appeals Systems (ECAS) Support Services. Awarded under the General Services Administration's Professional Services Schedule, the BPA is a single award, meaning ZYGOS is the only prime contractor on the vehicle which has a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The BPA has an estimated total value of up to $3 million, with the first Call Order awarded for a Firm Fixed Price of $774K.

Under the first Call Order, ZYGOS Consulting and its teaming partner the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) will conduct an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and recommend the optimal vendor solution and implementation plan to meet the ECAS modernization goals and objectives. Having completed several similar high-profile AoA projects for other clients, ZYGOS will leverage its mature 7-step AoA methodology and NCSC's deep expertise in court management processes and technology to provide superior performance for EOIR. This BPA and Call Order are ZYGOS' first prime contract award, signaling the company's maturation to the next level as a niche provider of high-end acquisition consulting services to the Federal Government.

March 23, 2015 - ZYGOS Consulting Awarded Subcontract to Continue Acquisition Support to PM AESIP and LMP

ZYGOS Consulting was awarded a subcontract under Engility Corporation to continue Acquisition Support to Project Manager Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (PM AESIP) and the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). The award includes an option for performance through December 2016, continuing the specialized services provided by ZYGOS to support acquisition milestone decisions for LMP and strategic contracting initiatives for PM AESIP. ZYGOS subject matter experts will continue to support critical Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiatives including LMP Increment 2, and the PM AESIP Enterprise Contract Management Group and Army ERP Services acquisition.

December 9, 2014 - Article on Benefits of Early Exchanges with Industry Posted on Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Site

ZYGOS Consulting personnel Nick Tsiopanas, Lawrence Asch, and Mike Malloy supporting the Project Manager, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (PM AESIP) Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Services Acquisition Integrated Project team (IPT) wrote an article on Early, Ongoing and Comprehensive Exchanges With Industry Prior to Receipt of Proposals. This collaborative effort between Government and ZYGOS personnel to develop, write, and post the article to DAU was with the intent to share the team's lessons learned, experience, and knowledge to help other IPTs benefit from these types of early exchanges. The concepts and practices discussed in the article are consistent with the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) Mythbusters guidance and DoD's Better Buying Power initiatives. ZYGOS Consulting LLC is pleased to announce it was recently awarded a Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) schedule contract by the General Services Administration (GSA). The MOBIS schedule offers a full range of management and consulting services for improving agency performance and providing assistance with meeting mission goals.

To earn the MOBIS award, ZYGOS underwent a rigorous review of its products and services, management practices, customer satisfaction, and past performance; including quality, timeliness, cost, and value. September 22, 2014 – ZYGOS Consulting was awarded a subcontract under Cask, LLC’s prime contract with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) to Provide CIO Advisory Services.

ZYGOS will assist DSCA with Information Technology (IT) portfolio management services for the DSCA IT Directorate leadership team including the DSCA Chief Information Officer (CIO).

DSCA is a Department of Defense (DoD) agency reporting to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and has responsibility for directing, administering, and providing policy guidance for the ex*****on of security cooperation programs.

This new award builds on ZYGOS’ long-standing support to DSCA. ZYGOS has provided acquisition consulting to DSCA for over three years in the Security Cooperation Enterprise Solution (SCES) program, a Tri-Service Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case ex*****on.
