River Row Flats COVID-19 Cleaning Procedures
At River Row Flats, your health and wellness are our paramount priority. We believe that River Row Flats is a fantastic option for travel during these times not only because of our high cleanliness and sanitation standards, but also because of our building design. With no enclosed lobby or enclosed hallways, no elevators on property, a heating and cooling system that does not circulate air between rooms, operable windows that allow us to air out units between guests, and with a strict cleaning and sanitation schedule that exceeds industry standards, we are uniquely positioned to help ensure the well being of our guests. Read below for a more detailed list of our efforts to ensure a clean room upon your arrival.
*Each item of linen is removed and sanitized between each guest. (This includes all blankets, towels, sheets, shower curtains, etc.) This laundry is sanitized on-site and kept in a clean and climate controlled storage room.
* We sanitize the room with Lysol between guests, including sanitizing the mini-split HVAC systems and furniture.
* We air out each room between guests.
*Floors are vacuumed, swept, mopped with bleach water, dried, and vacuumed again between each guest. There is also a handheld broom in each unit for the guest use, with the handles sanitized between guests. All furniture is moved, cleaned and sanitized between each guest. Rugs are removed each month to be washed and cleaned, but are sanitized between guests with Lysol.
*We remove any left item of food or beverage and sanitize each refrigerator/freezer with a NC Health Department approved sanitizing solution. All ice is removed from the automatic ice maker and the bucket is washed and sanitized before going back into the freezer and fresh ice is made.
*All door handles and contact surfaces are cleaned with sanitizing solutions. Including the remote controls, switches, k***s, faucets, toilets, showers, and outlet covers.
*With each unit having its own ac/heating unit, you don’t need to worry about centralized air being blown through the units. Each AC/Heating unit filters are cleaned between each guest to maintain optimal standards.
*Our guest laundry room is cleaned, sanitized and maintained daily. The laundry room is located on the first floor and is accessible to all guests that want to wash and dry their clothes before traveling.
* We have a small staff who are following a strict policy to not come to work if sick, and who are not attending large gatherings and taking precautions to not become exposed to COVID-19.
*We offer an option to have housekeeping come and clean your unit while you are staying with us. During this process, the unit is cleaned as it would be between guests. (There is a $25 fee for this service, and we do ask that if this service is requested, it be the night before the service is wanted to ensure proper staffing.)
* We have waived our cancellation fees and we encourage guests who are traveling from impacted areas or who are not feeling well to cancel their trips. You also have the option to move the dates of your stay to a time in the future that may be more suitable.
