Stop #6 on our Hop-On/Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour. This old sign is so beautiful. The Grove Arcade is a historic commercial building located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. It was built in the 1920s and originally served as an architectural marvel and shopping destination. An exciting example of collaboration started rolling around Asheville for the first time on March 29th. The ArtsAVL Connect Trolley allows riders to hop on and off between downtown and the River Arts District, dispersing visitors to artists’ studios, restaurants, and the Farmers’ Market. The ArtsAVL initiative was made possible with lead funding from Explore Asheville, reinvesting tourism dollars to benefit travelers and residents.
