Downton Shabby Vacation rentals in west Asheville! We have 2 units right across the street from each other! Perfe Sorry, no butler or lady's maid, not even fine china!

Quiet 2 bedroom 2 bath, jetted tub, mountain views, & fishing

Downton Shabby! But it is cute, cozy, and well... shabby! And the owners are just corny enough to name it after one of their all-time favorite shows... Downton Abbey! (Did I even have to say it? �)

What you will find here is a cute and cozy cottage with pond and mountain views. The feel of being in the country but just 4 miles from I

-40, I-26, and I-240. You will be 5 miles from downtown, and about 15 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway! And so much more that the Asheville area has to offer! Come back from your adventures and have a quiet meal in the fully equipped kitchen, soak in the jetted jacuzzi tub, or sit on the porch swing and enjoy the views! Later, roast some marshmallows over the fire pit! And if you've never heard of Downton Abbey before, and want to just veg in front of the tv, we have several seasons on DVD for you to fall in love with Lady Mary, Sybil, Edith, and of course, the Countess Dowager, aka: Granny! But, if you're not into British period dramas, then Dish network is available also. (But, hey, don't knock it till you've tried it!)

The pond that you overlook from the front deck belongs to us. We don't mind guests catch & release fishing, as long as we know ahead of time. We have long-term tenants in the house and we always let them know when we've given someone permission to be on the property. But, bring your own poles... we don't have any to lend. :)

We live just a hop, skip, and a jump away if you need anything at all! It's the perfect place to relax and unwind! (1) queen bed

Earlier this year, we inherited a couple of ducklings from some neighbors. Initially, we planned to give them away, but they quickly stole our hearts and now enjoy swimming their days away in our pond! Feel free to feed and pet them when you come to stay! (Odessa, the smaller one, is more leery, but Charlie doesn't mind- especially if you have food! Haha)
