We are excited to announce that we will be heading to the Charleston Boat Show this upcoming weekend — the 26th - 28th. If you happen to be attending - Come see us!
We will be representing one of our newest partners, DIVE BLU3 & showing off lots of treasures we have found while exploring on their tankless dive systems!

Low Country Fossil Hunting 🤩
*This is a NON-DIVING trip*
We have another addiction we are ready to share with you… Tooth hunting takes a lil’ patience, a lil’ luck - and a whole lot of knowing where to go and look at the ground!

Join us for Full Moon fossil hunting near Folly Beach , SC - JAN 24th & 25th - the tides will be full and the teeth will be there! You also have the chance to find beautiful shells, war relics, and artifacts.
This is a small private charter with only 4 spots available on each trip (1 per day) the boat will run based on the tide.
$200 per person
$700 to make it a fully private boat.

This includes cruising through the waterways, hearing some of the rich pirate history, learning about why we are able to find prehistoric fossils abundantly in the low country, and getting to hang with some of the resident river dolphins of SC. (We are pretty much guaranteed to see dolphins)

*this trip is suitable for all ages - but you must be able to hop on and off a boat and walk along flat sand / packed mud for an extended amount of time. The terrain is easy , but the walk to the special spot is about a mile one way. We will be on an uninhabited island - if you get sick of hunting , you will be welcome to hang out on the beach and picnic or head back to the boat and float. You will be accompanied by a certified expedition leader and USCG licensed captain 👌

Heads up 👀 We are heading to the remote islands of the Azores, Portugal with Nixi Aquatics in July 2024!

This will be a small group, expedition style trip, for advanced divers… We will be working with a Nat Geo photographer & naturalist that happens to be a local; He will be sharing his favorite places with us while documenting all of the amazing experiences.

There is the opportunity to encounter residential s***m whales , schooling rays , blue & mako sharks , and a ton of amazing fauna that treat these pelagic islands as a pit stop on their migrations. There will also be plenty of options for adventures on land - The islands are insanely beautiful above and below sea level!

We do not have this trip pricing finalized - But, there are extremely limited spots and they will most definitely sell out!

Nondivers welcome - plenty to enjoy! Waterfront home with large game room, private boat, paddle boards & kayaks. We plan on diving, snorkeling, fishing, and *of course* relaxing!

Seasons greetings from all of us at Mountains To The Seas Scuba and Travel! We want thank all of our clients for a great year and for the loyalty in the past years. Lots of newly certified divers have kept all of our instructors busy and it gives us great pleasure to have been able to introduce so many people to our underwater world. When Mountains to the Seas Scuba and Travel closes on December 23rd for the holidays it will be our last day of business. But wait there's more!

When we reopen January 1, 2024, we want to notify everyone of some exciting changes. Our name will change to Mountains To Seas Adventures. Our previous Senior Staff Instructor, Ischa Vingle, and after much pressure from Mike will now become the new owner. We are so excited about the all the new plans she has to make Mountains to Seas bigger and better than ever! For the time being, we will remain in our current location and phone number. Mike will still be available as senior instructor and associate. He will still be in the shop to assist our current clients as well as the new ones.

We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Let's go diving!

It’s PADI Women’s Dive Day and while we recognize all the amazing women in our dive family; We would like to highlight our Instructor, Ischa!

The dive industry is male dominated; But Ischa is one of the many female dive pros that are changing the game. We have certified more women through the shop since she has came onboard, (her student count is more than double women compared to men) which goes against the statistics, and shows what having a female dive pro on the team can do for the community.

Ischa is a PADI Master Scuba Dive Trainer specializing in private dive coaching, with 1000’s of dives all over the world. She is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain, a certified AAUS Research Diver, and Adaptive SCUBA Instructor.

She is looking for members for a local Girl’s & Women’s Dive Team, and has multiple all female dive trips in the works. If you would like to join the list for more information on these upcoming opportunities; Leave a comment, DM us, call us, or reach out to her personally.
