The City of Ashland is seeking a community volunteer to serve on the Parks and Recreation Committee. The Parks and Recreation Committee also serves as the City of Ashland Tree Board. Interested parties should have an interest or knowledge in parks, recreation, forestry, horticulture, and community building. The Committee meets monthly or bi-monthly.

Any questions can be directed to Sara Hudson, Director of Parks and Recreation. Sara's contact information can be found on the City's Website Staff Directory.

Due to the predicted extreme cold temperatures, the East End Skating Rink Warming House will be CLOSED this weekend. There will not be an attendant to rent skates or have concessions. We appreciate your understanding!

Starting January 20th Ashland Parks & Recreation is offering an hour of Drop-In Adult Open Skate time at the Bretting Community Center gym! Open Skate will be every Monday from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. and will be $1 per person.

Indoor wheels are required to participate!

Due to the gym floor being refinished, the APR office is closed today. The BCC will open today at 4pm for gymnastics and game room use. The APR office, BCC and Game room will reopen on Wednesday at 9am. The BCC Gym is closed until Thursday at 11am.
