The nordic ski trail system in Aspen Snowmass is the largest in the continent that boast over 60 miles of connected trails in Aspen, Snowmass and Basalt! It is free and open 24 hours from December to April, or until conditions allow.

We love the Lichenhearth Condos for it's ski-in ski-out access and location and so do our guests!🏔❄

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lichenhearth for 8 days and we loved every minute of it. Our favorite part was skiing down the mountain DIRECTLY to the back door! The nearest lift is about 5 minutes of walking and nearest full mountain access gondola is about 10 minutes of walking, but you gotta warm up your legs before a big day, right? The building is on the far right side of the mountain, where all of the hip Apres restaurants are located… so you can grab a quick cocktail at the end of a long ski day, followed by 2 more minutes of ski directly to the unit. Don’t want to do apres in your ski boots? Ski down to the unit, change into something comfy, and take the mini gondola back to the apres spot (15 min round trip)! Other than the location, the Itrip team was very communicative and continually checked in with me to see if/how they could be of assistance. We didn’t have a car, but there is covered parking under the building. There is a small market 4 min walk away (located in the village) and there is a larger market that is 10 min walk away. You are surrounded by restaurants in Snowmass Village, but you can also take the shuttle to Aspen if you want more options (~20 min drive). Lastly, we thoroughly enjoyed our in-unit fireplace, washer/dryer, and private balcony. We will be back next year!!"

Say hello to Justin Spitz, one of our dedicated property managers at iTrip Aspen Snowmass! With just over a year on the team, Justin has already made a big impact, especially with his growing expertise in maintenance projects and customer service. He loves being part of a supportive, enthusiastic team and takes pride in contributing to unforgettable guest experiences.

What motivates him? Justin shares, “Having respect for the company the owners have built and wanting to do my best to support that! And seeing the hard work everyone else on the team contributes makes me want to do my part!”

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received? "Don’t chase a fancy job title if its going to make you miserable, you need to enjoy what you do for 40 hours a week and only you can determine what that means. "

His local tips? Devil’s Punchbowl in the summer and catching a show at Belly Up in the winter.

Outside of work, Justin lives for adventure—whether it’s snowboarding, climbing, rafting, or exploring Aspen’s unbeatable outdoors.

Fun fact: Justin recently officiated his best friends wedding in Park City and gets excited about cooking a nice rib-eye steak!
