We were really looking forward to learning more about at the Business After Hours event this evening. But, we have canceled the BAH due to today's inclement weather and will reschedule with them for another time.

The Oregon Film Trail is a statewide network of markers placed at significant filming locations across Oregon. Currently, an oral history project is underway, gathering stories from locals who interacted with productions during filming. These stories will become part of the Trail, offering visitors a unique insight into the filming experience from a local perspective.
If you have a story to share about a filming experience in Oregon, Oregon Film wants to hear from you. They are particularly interested in stories that highlight how being a part of a film production impacted your life, whether you worked on set, appeared as an extra, or provided goods or services to a production.

About 175 community members attended the 152nd Annual Meeting & Banquet for the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Our annual meeting is a way to celebrate all the wonderful things happening in our community. Rough storm last night. Here's an update from Pacific Power as of 7:30 this morning:

Last night's weather did extensive damage on the Pacific Power system. We brought in additional resources to assist with repairs as we saw activity increase and are calling in additional resources this morning to assist with our restoration efforts. The majority of our customer impacts are due to transmission issues and our crews are currently working on them. However, due to the terrain and extent of damage, repairs are likely to take multiple hours. Please utilize our outage map located here: https://www.pacificpower.net/outages-safety.html. Our crews are working hard to make repairs as quickly and safely as they can.
