Disney did not disappoint with the announcements last night at the D23 Expo! They gave us so much more than we could hope for!

Check these out below, then let me know which announcement has YOU hanging onto the edge of your seat! My fav is the first one listed!!!!

🏰 WALT DISNEY WORLD🏰

▫️Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom! It will have 2 major attractions, dining, and shopping.

▫️ A brand NEW Cars Land is headed to Frontierland in Magic Kingdom! This land will feature 2 brand new cars attractions and will begin construction early 2025.

▫️ Monsters Inc Land is coming to Hollywood Studios! It will feature a doors coaster- the first ever suspended roller coaster created by Disney- and construction begins in 2025.

▫️ Tropical Americas will replace DinoLand USA at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and open in 2027! It will feature 3 new attractions - an all new Indiana Jones attraction, a carousel full of famous Disney animals, and the first ever Encanto attraction!

▫️ Two new lounges will debut in 2025-an all-new Spaceship Earth Lounge at EPCOT and the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern at Magic Kingdom

▫️ “Zootopia: Better Zoogether” opens NEXT WINTER at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

▫️“Disney Starlight,” an all-new nighttime parade, is coming to Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025!

▫️The reimagined Test Track reopens in EPCOT in 2025

🎡DISNEYLAND RESORT🎡

▫️ Avengers Campus at Disneyland will double in size with TWO brand new attractions-Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab!

▫️Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opens on November 15!!

▫️ The first-ever Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic will debut in 2025 inside the Main Street Opera House in “Walt Disney — A Magical Life”

▫️ The first-ever attraction themed to “Coco” is coming to Disney California Adventure!

▫️ Journey further in the world of Pandora at Disney California Adventure in a brand new way! This destination will draw inspiration from "Avatar: The Way of Water” and future Avatar films like Fire & Ash

🚢 DISNEY CRUISE LINE🚢

▫️ Disney will add 4 NEW, unannounced cruise ships to its fleet between 2027 and 2031-bringing the total to 13!

▫️ The new stage show coming to the Disney Destiny when it sets sail in 2025 will be “Disney Hercules!”

Now THIS is worth celebrating!! Akoya Pearls has opened in the Japan Pavilion at EPCOT for the first time in almost 3 years!

This is such a unique and incredible experience - go in to the back, pick your shell & see what size Pearl you get 🤍 *tip* pick the ugliest one and it’s usually a great size!

They can then put your Pearl into different settings- rings, necklace, etc!
My daughter and I did this experience and will be doing it again soon. She got a bear necklace and I got Cinderella carriage necklace but a ring would be so fun!

So next time you’re at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT make sure to explore hidden gems like this in the World Showcase! I love to dedicate 2 or 3 countries to my Epcot day so I can see everything they have to offer. Each one is so unique!

‼️ HURRICANE IAN UPDATE ‼️

🏰 Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of their guests and Cast Members, Walt Disney World theme parks will be closed Wednesday (9/28) and Thursday (9/29). Disney Springs will be closed on Wednesday (9/28), with a decision to be made about Thursday later. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be canceled on 9/29 and 9/30.

🎢 Out of precaution for the safety of their guests at Team Members, Universal Orlando Resort theme parks and CityWalk will be closed Wednesday (9/28) and Thursday (9/29). Halloween Horror Nights will be canceled 9/28-9/29.

🚨Breaking Disney Cruise Line News 🚨

Beginning Sept. 23, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish and Disney Wonder and beginning Nov. 7, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney Magic, fully vaccinated Guests are no longer required to participate in COVID-19 testing in order to sail. Guests who are NOT fully vaccinated must continue providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken one to 3 days before the sail date. However, Guests who are not fully vaccinated will no longer be required to complete a second test at the terminal on embarkation day.

In order to sail, all guests 12 and older (who are required to be vaccinated), plus those under 12 that are vaccinated, must upload their proof of vaccination to the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day.

Unvaccinated Guests must upload a negative COVID-19 test result to the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day. Uploading these documents is a requirement for adults and children, regardless of age.

Where do you start? Canada or Mexico, I start in France!
I love the Disney Skyliner and it drops off at the International Gateway which is in between France and the United Kingdom.

France has the best bakery in the back (Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie), just past the yummy ice cream & sorbet spot: L'Artisan des Glaces.
If you can just make it past that ice cream, the bakery is worth it! I love stopping in at any time of day. They have a great little shopping spot inside too, just enough to browse and get out of the heat.

OR just a couples trip....these are not places just for kids.

Brian and I love getting away for a long weekend to explore the parks, do as many rides as we can, eat fun food and watch all the entertainment!

It’s Cinco de Mayo!

Today I am going to show you the MEXICO PAVILION in Epcot’s World Showcase.

Don’t pass on stepping inside this pavilion. That’s right…most of this pavilion is INSIDE the Aztec Temple of Quetzalcoatl. There is so much to do in Mexico!

Here are some of the things you’ll find in this pavilion:

-TWO table service restaurants: San Angel Inn and La Hacienda de San Angel

-One quick service restaurant: La Cantina de San Angel

-Shopping: multiple shopping experiences in the Art of Mexico, such as glass blowing, wood paintings, authentic apparel and more. Bonus…you can actually see them painting wooden pieces AND glass blowing on most days!

-Meet Donald Duck outside the pyramid!

-Dance and listen to Mariachi Cobre outside

-Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros is the attraction inside the pyramid. It is great for kids!

Have you ever been on The Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World?

This attraction is located inside Magic Kingdom Park, and opened WITH the park on opening day October 1, 1971!

Not much has changed over the last 50 years about the attraction because it is so beloved and there are so many details from the time you walk into the line queue until you exit.

Here are a few fun facts about this ride!

1) During the queue, you will see graves for many different imagineers. You may find that there is a rose sitting on Master Gracey’s grave. Yale Gracey was actually the Haunted Mansion Special Effects Design Team leader.

2) In the line queue, look at Madame Leota’s grave…you might find her looking back!

3) Did you know Madame Leota was actually a real person? She got her name from Imagineer Leota Toombs who worked on models.

4) Eleanor Audley is the voice of Madame Leota in the attraction. Sound familiar? That’s because she also voiced Lady Tremaine (Cinderella) and Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)

This is a phased in approach, but you can now hug, get autographs and be up close with your favorite characters once again!

AMAZING! I am so happy, one of my favorite things EVER is to get creative with their autographs!

I feel so blessed that while in Florida we were able to make our way over to Disney Springs for an afternoon.

Brian and I ate at the Boathouse and had such a great lunch!! Our waitress was incredible and gave us some Walt Disney World magic…free dessert ♥️
