Yesterday, we remembered Ohio Brew Week’s founder, Jon Sparhawk, who was known for wearing Hawaiian-style floral shirts. His legacy lives on through his family and the positive impacts he made in this town.

Summertime shuffles in Uptown Athens can get a bit…elaborate.

Loved seeing this crew bouncing around town during recently.

They called it a “Roper Romp.” Nationwide, people have been costuming as Helen Roper, a character from an old tv sitcom, “Three’s Company.” While it’s not exclusive to Athens, Ohio, we think these folks did a great job at emulating the character and putting a smile on people’s faces. Love the quirky, creative spirit in this town.
