WHAT’S THAT! On my succulent?
Some succulents have a white powdery substance on their leaves; but that’s ok, in fact it’s a good thing. It’s called Farina or epicuticular wax. This protects the plant from harsh sunlight and it’s also hydrophobic, so it helps to protect against root rot- a death sentence for succulents!
Be careful to protect your plant from touching by you or curious children. If it is rubbed off it will not grow back on the leaves that were touched.

So, you're curious... what exactly is a Terrarium, anyway? A Terrarium is a self-sustaining miniature ecosystem and through photosynthesis, the plants recycle nutrients, This means
that terrariums require minimal or no maintenance.
The Terrarium was actually discovered accidentally and was also referred to as a Wardian Case.
The name terrarium comes from the Latin words terra(earth), and arium (place)
The oldest terrarium was started in 1960 when David Latimer decided to grow a sealed glass bottle terrarium. He never imagined that it would grow into an incredible research study and be “the world’s oldest terrarium.”
It hasn’t been watered since 1972!!!!
Terrariums were very popular in the 70s and for very good reasons. They are making a comeback as people are wanting to incorporate more green in their lives yet lack the time for “Needy Plants”
Imagine passing down a terrarium to your children, now wouldn’t that make a beautiful and meaningful gift?

Who needs water when you have Panda Plants? They're like the ultimate chill plants, low-maintenance and easy to care for. Not to mention how cutey cute cute they are!! They are so soft and fuzzy😆😆
I have gone months without giving them a single drink, actually I have even forgotten about the little things.
There are some plants that you KNOW will survive on neglect and this baby is one of them.
