Peanut-butter and Jelly. Macaroni and Cheese. Tile and Countertops. They are all individual components that come together to create a wonderfully delicious end-product.

And while tile and countertops aren't necessarily the most nutritious thing for our bodies, a beautiful bathroom design is enriching for the mind.

In our photos today, we see a perfect harmony of tile and countertop material.
Chakra Beige, a quartz countertop material we keep in stock here at Bella Maria, complements the beiges and browns of the Pompeii Sahara Matte 2.5”x8” tiles on the shower walls (by SpearTek Tile and Stone) The Hyde Park Penny Round by B&F Ceramics Design Showroom Inc., used as an accent piece in this space, the blues and browns swirling together in a mosaic pattern give the feeling of an oasis in the desert.

The 2”x2” Charleston Citadel Chocolate by Arley Wholesale on the floor of the shower completes the look utilizing a darker brown to ground the space. We also see the Chakra Beige repeated in the shower via the shower bench and the divider between the shower and rest of the bathroom, accomplishing harmony between countertop and tile.

The elegance of natural stone can take a space from "amazing!" to "PHENOMENAL!"

The Hemlock marble kitchen countertops, sourced from AGM Imports Granite & Marble, are unmatched with their bold veining in contrast to the white throughout the rest of the space. The stone is also repeated on a bathroom vanity, sans the bold veining. It's amazing how the same stone can be utilized in two completely different spaces!

The master bathroom boasts the gorgeous Bianca Ibla marble, also sourced from AGM. Each stone has its own personality, and Bianca Ibla, though a white marble, shows how classy it is with its grey vein accents, drawing in the attention.

Black in a space doesn't necessarily make it look smaller, but provides a bold contrast to other colors in a space. Using black natural stone is no different. Variations and veining add textures and colors to the space that tie all the colors in the area together.

This gorgeous island boasts Cambria's Inverness Platinum quartz and looks magnificent! The charcoal and silver veining against the white surface adds elegance to any space, and this is no exception.

Cambria's Inverness series, which comes in several colors, is unique because of the textured veining in the slab. Photos don't do the texture justice, so make sure you come in to Bella Maria and take a good feel of our Inverness samples!

Happy Veteran's Day to our very own Lindsey Lee!

Lindsey served in the Navy from 2014-2018 as a Mass Communication Specialist. Her favorite duty in the Navy was spending her time on Pacific Partnership 2016 aboard USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), traveling the South Pacific and interacting with communities of foreign countries.

She's now a part of Bella Maria, serving on the front lines of bathroom and kitchen design. No countertop, backsplash, wall or floor tile is daunting to her, and we're glad to have her on our team!
