Ciao da Roma! 🇮🇹 Day One McGrath family adventures in Italy 🇮🇹 Aside from providing a couple key international travel lessons, my family’s multi-generational trip has gotten off to a great start. 4 first-time European travelers and 2 additional novice visitors to Italy makes for a fun trip from a planning perspective. Fortunately we recovered both the lost passport & the lost family member 😳 (see my stories), so fingers crossed we’re all still claiming each other as family by Day 7!🤞🏻We miss those who can’t be with us this trip and remember fondly our Dad who would have loved being dragged along. 💚🤍❤️

⚓️ Join the Navy, See the World 🌎

⚓️ If there was ever one thing I was sure of during my time in the Navy, it was that I was always up for adventure. Whether in uniform or civilian clothes, my sea bag was packed and I was ready to go wherever the journey would take me.

⚓️ My spirit of adventure paid for my education and moved me from the Midwest to the West Coast and overseas to Japan and the Middle East.

⚓️ During my almost 10 years of active service, I visited 4 continents, 7 countries, a dozen U.S. states and 2 U.S. territories. It solidified a desire to keep “Seeing the World” and I’m honored that so many trust me to help them see it, too.

🇺🇸Happy Veterans Day to all those who bravely served. I challenge you to remember what sense of adventure called you to service and don’t lose that spirit. I see you & am forever grateful. ❤️🇺🇸🤍🇺🇸💙

2 years ago today I began my new adventure as a travel planner with !

Hi there! Since it’s the new year and I have some new followers here, I thought it’d be a great time for an introduction. Many of you know me but just in case…

✨ I’m Maureen, a concierge travel advisor with living in Atlanta, GA. Originally from the Midwest, I’ve moved across the USA 6 times, lived in 7 states and overseas in Japan, deployed to the Middle East and traveled around the world as both a Navy veteran and spouse. My travel experience encompasses 4 continents, 22 countries, 45 states and 2 U.S. territories as both a single traveler and a married mom of 3 teenage boys.

✨ In 2021, I embarked on this journey created from my curiosity and love of travel and the detail & time I put into researching new destinations and the unique experiences & hidden treasures found in these memorable locations. I invest the same energy & passion into planning each client’s vacation as I would my own.

✨ In 2022, I was fortunate to travel every month & had the opportunity to explore new destinations & experiences near and far from home. Some highlights included a Bahamian cruise, an oceanfront villa in Belize and a Danube River cruise to experience the European Christmas Markets. 🏡 Safely home from my European travels and grateful for the opportunity to share it with you!

🙏🏼 Thank you to all who followed along in my stories, ❤️’d and commented everyday. Your support and interest is greatly appreciated. As this was a personal trip with my mom, sister & aunt, I wanted to remain present in our adventures and not be posting all the time.
