FEATURED LISTING: If you're looking for a great place to relax and unwind, consider this place. We just stayed here and I can tell you, it's a really great place to just sit and be. Here is what we did every day while we were there:

- drink morning coffee in the hot tub
- breakfast on one of the great porches
- read BY the river
- lunch
- read IN the river
- dinner by the fire pit...which is by the river
- sunset, fireflies, and star gazing from the hot tub
- rinse and repeat

If that's what you're looking for, this is your place. The host was great, the house was clean, and the surroundings were beautiful. Highly recommend!

What do hot air balloons and margaritas have in common? If you go to Santa Fe the first week of October, both are plentiful. The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is the world's largest hot air balloon festival. The Santa Fe Margarita Trail features over 40 unique, craft margaritas at local restaurants. It's the perfect pairing! We have a free itinerary all planned out for the margaritas, just add a day or two for the Fiesta. October will be here soon, so book your travel now. This is one of the places that made me fall in love with travel. I remember the views absolutely blowing my mind as a kid.

Glaciers, the very meaning of ‘slow and steady wins the race’. These moving sheets of ice once carved Jackson Lake to its current depth of 400ft, cut the various canyons into the Teton range, and a few of these ancient earth movers remain in the park today! Skillet glacier–so named due to its narrow top and wide, pan-like bottom–is located near the top left of Mount Moran in a bowl-like formation.

Desert sunsets are hard to beat. I've experienced some pretty great ones in Phoenix. Our Phoenix based itinerary includes watching a sunset from the top of a mountain and another one on horseback. Both are pretty amazing experiences!

Orlando hack! Going to the theme parks? The park properties are great, but they are really expensive. Did you know you can get a short term rental super close to the park at a fraction of the cost? The best part is that you can easily find places with themed bedrooms, private pools, and game rooms for the kids. Our recommended approach is to alternate days at the parks with days by the pool sipping on a cold beverage. You'd be surprised at how much more fun the week is at that pace. Cool vacation photo idea! Take a panoramic photo...start on the left...after the camera moves off of you, run behind the person holding the camera to the other side...pose and wait. It might take one or two practice runs to get the timing down the first time, but it makes for some really fun photos to share.
