Yes, there are many paradise destinations in the Carribean and we think this one is worth a visit for sure! We have been to the DR a few times and each visit we discover something new!

There are several national parks in the United States known for their excellent stargazing opportunities due to their dark skies and minimal light pollution. Some of these include:

Great Basin National Park, Nevada: This park is home to the Great Basin Observatory, making it a prime location for stargazing events and programs.

Big Bend National Park, Texas: Located in a remote area, it offers stunning views of the night sky and is a designated International Dark Sky Park.

It's FALL!! (Sort of) This is a great time to plan your escape from the scorching heat and discover all of nature's wonder! The changing Fall foliage is absolutely spectacular! Head back East and take driving tour up to Vermont! And the temps are cooler!! How about a southwest tour of natural rock formations like Bryce Canyon or the Grand Canyon.... again cooler temps! During our trip to Thailand last winter (2023), we stopped in 3 locations. Bangkok (which is just as big and busy as NYC), Chiang Mai (small city with loads of history and culture), and Phuket (Nai Yang beach). One of my favorite things we did was a cooking class at Mama Noi’s cooking school. I’ve always thought about doing a cooking class but never planned it before! This was an A+++ experience. The food was phenomenal! I highly recommend adding a cooking class wherever you are abroad. Picture above is our group at the cooking class.

Is your passport up-to-date? Is it set expire in 6 or fewer months? Renewal ties are very lengthy as well as the time it takes to get a new issue. Current processing time is 10-13 weeks. If you expedite it is 7-9 weeks. If you plan to travel within the next year and your passport will expire within the next 18 months, its a good idea to get that process started.

Welcome to Travel Itch Scratched - Travel Advisors (TSI)! We, Monica and Tina are so excited to take on this venture together. As you all know, we have a mutual love of planning and traveling every chance we get!

TSI is a full service travel agency where we research and develop everything you need for your dream vacation. This includes active, adventure, luxury, resorts, cruises and tour packages. Once we agree on a plan, we will book everything for you.We are committed to designing an experience of a lifetime every time you travel.

This is our travel planning process:

1. Contact us to discuss your vacation desires. We will ask a number of qualifying questions so we can begin researching. The best way to reach one of us is by emailing [email protected], or by filling out our travel planner form on our website (currently under construction) or our page. (We charge a small research fee, which we apply to your trip if you book through our agency)

2. We will put together an initial itinerary for you. We can research and plan 1-2 different options for your review. We will email you the itinerary ideas/options and discuss any feedback and make any changes, additions or tweaks.

3. Once you are happy with the itinerary, we get everything booked for you and often with just a small deposit and payment options to hold the trip.

4. START PACKING!! It’s time to travel. (We can give you recommendations of what to pack if needed.

5. Return from your fabulous trip! Don’t forget to contact us for your NEXT dream trip.

Hey ALL! We…Monica and Tina, are SO excited to finally have our Open for business sign out!! A little back story of how this travel business came to be, It began post raising our children. We’ve known each other for 25+ years but five or so years ago we both realized our mutual love and desire to travel and now have the time. Fast forward thru quite a few amazing trips together including the DR, Croatia, Italy, Turkey, Greece, and Thailand to name a few. We realized we make a great planning and organizing team. So here we are today with this really fun adventure we can do together. I hope you all will reach out with you travel desires and see if we can put together a plan for you! We are attached to many vendors in the travel industry so we believe we can put together some great travel packages. In addition, we will be planning group trips … thinking Africa Fall 2024! Anybody interested?!
