Had a lot of fun planning this honeymoon trip out west for two lovely clients! They’re heading to Oregon in April, and there is much to do and see!

They’ll split their time between Portland and the Willamette Valley wine region. Think artsy city streets, farm-to-table meals, markets, wildflower hikes, hot springs, vineyards, and tulips as far as the eye can see.

My philosophy is simple: a honeymoon should reflect the unique personalities and wishes of each pair of newly-weds. Underrated skiing in Europe: a hidden Alpine gem⛷️

Did you know that ski prices in Europe are often lower than the slopes of Vail, Vermont, and Montana? When most people think of skiing in Europe, the Alps in Switzerland, France, or Austria likely come to mind. But there’s a hidden gem that often flies under the radar: the Dolomites in northern Italy.

Known for their stunning limestone peaks, charming alpine towns, and less crowded slopes, the Dolomites offer an unforgettable skiing experience at a great price point.

The ski season in the Dolomites typically runs from early December to April, with the best conditions from mid-December through March. Whether you’re looking for a cozy alpine village or a lively après-ski scene, the Dolomites have plenty of options.

💥PRO TIP: If you’re after an immersive winter wonderland with fewer crowds, January is a fantastic time to go. The slopes are quieter after the holiday rush, and you can still enjoy the extended charm of Italy’s famous Christmas markets, which continue into the first week of January. 🎄
