Hey, it’s Kate from @anthologytravel here and we need to talk about Iceland!🌋🇮🇸📸
Here are some key takeaways from my recent trip:
🧊 With a handful of [amazing] exceptions, adventure & experience is the focus in Iceland rather than accommodation.
🐟 The food is fabulous, especially at those top-quality accommodations.
🌱 It’s pricey but you’re paying for expertise and flexibility - because the weather is so variable, you want to be paying a premium for a team that’s both experienced and well-connected enough to pivot on a dime and reschedule activities around weather patterns.
All in all, a wonderful trip. My favorite part was definitely meeting huskies (I know, my cat *does* feel betrayed) and experiencing Iceland’s justifiably great hot springs.
