There’s one place in Bali that you can get ALL of these shots PLUS a few more we didn’t have time for.

Here’s how and where you can maximize your time.

First we highly recommend arriving at 5:45am to be at the entrance gate. There is a whole process of what to do before entry. I’ll share the “Real-Deal” reel in our stories so you can know exactly what to expect.

Secondly, Get your number BEFORE you hit these spots so that you know approximately how long you have until it’s your turn at the main attraction.

Photos 1,2,3, are all taken at the Panoramic viewing points, plus a few more options as available. This spot is located onsite, but a bit further past the main attraction.

Photos 4,5,6 are taken at what I call the “Period Party” spot. It’s right near the upper entrance and designed for women on their menstrual cycles to wait, as it’s not permitted to enter the main attraction while on flow. Anyone can enter for a small fee- our guide paid our entry since we couldn’t enter. There’s a cafe for coffee, tea, fruits & pastries with amazing unobstructed views.

Photos 7,8,9,10- YES! You can score ALL of these photo ops and more at the iconic Lempuyang Temple aka Heaven’s Gate!

Be sure the watch the full process in our stories so you know what to expect when visiting. It can be a very long, hot day if not planned appropriately. It’s best go with a knowledgeable guide.

How long does it take to create a flower pool???
They make it rain flowers for hours, and it smells sooo good 👃🏾🌺🌼🪷🪻

ℹ️ The flowers used for flower pools in Bali typically come from local sources. Many of these flowers are grown in Bali itself, benefiting from the island’s rich agricultural tradition and favorable climate. Common flowers include frangipani, marigold, hibiscus, and jasmine. These are often sourced from local gardens, markets, and flower farms, ensuring freshness and supporting the local economy. The use of local flowers also aligns with Bali’s cultural and spiritual practices, where flowers play a significant role in daily offerings and ceremonies.

📌 To order a flower pool, you need a private pool at your Bali hotel or Airbnb.

Select your floral design and wording at least 2-3 days in advance so they can gather the flowers and team. They will ask what time you want to enjoy your pool and will come 2 hours before to set up everything. Costs vary depending on the hotel or Airbnb, and the size of the pool.

I vividly recall the disappointment when participants dropped out of our third group trip, especially during the flight booking phase. Starting with just one person on our 2018 Thailand trip, it was a journey from the bottom for sure.
It was one lady that said “I don’t care about anyone else, I’m going to Thailand!”

Since it was only 3 of us traveling and conscious about the budget, I booked a shared Phi Phi islands speed boat tour. FAIL- It was cramped, too many people for that boat, the tour felt a bit rushed, and of course….we were the only people of color.

So….How did we get here…to 35 people on a chartered mega yacht?

1. Pushed through self-pity and learned from mistakes.
2. Implemented automation to over-communicate important information and dates.
3. Built relationships & a solid global team.

While it seemed like failure when only one person boarded that plane, looking back, I gained invaluable lessons from that experience.

If doubt clouds your passion, remember to identify what isn’t working and devise a plan to overcome. Setbacks are stepping stones to success —just keep going!

Bali Beach Clubs Part 1: Ok let’s talk beach clubs in Bali.. we hit 3 during our 3 weeks. This beach club (without beach access) sits on the side of a cliff overlooking a beautiful beach with an amazing sunset the aesthetic is top tier. The music is standard electronic party music during the day with some hip hop and R&B as the sunsets. If you are in a group I recommend making a reservation (arriving before 2pm gets you a discount). All or most of the money you pay for the reservation is credited towards food and drink during your time. The food was good. The group shared a mix of appetizers and grabbed a few bottles which was more than enough. They also had hookah and cigars for sale. They also have a full service bar and two pools. When there is guest DJ or event.. this place goes all the way up!!
