Our current strategy to address the poverty in Pastores, where we operate, is simply to conduct business ethically, pay good and reasonable wages, treat workers fairly, ensure good working conditions, and hire and train a growing number of artisans who are struggling to survive. As customer support for our products grows, we plan to develop a more focused vision and strategy for addressing multiple types of extreme poverty in Guatemala.
