Saturday November 16th full day trip. It was a chilly day with winds out of the north. A little swelly off the crazy winds we had yesterday but it smoothed out as the day went. Slow fishing but we filled the stringers again! Tons of banded rudder, porgies, grunts, ringtales, sea bass, a few trigger, and a few atlantic sharpnose sharks. Special catches go to the king mackerel and the false albacore caught on a jig....Only a few more trips left this year. Be sure to call our fishing center and make your reservations!!!
Another rough day with a cold northeast wind blowing all day. Captain put us on some fish though. Tons of vermilion snapper, some sea bass and triggers, tons of porgies and grunts as well!
Friday November 1 full day trip. Pretty day on the water and filled up the stringers. Tons of banded rudder fish with quite a few vermilion snapper, sea bass, trigger, French grunts, scup porgies, and ring tail porgies caught as well. Full day trip Saturday September 28th. Definitely started off a little swelly today but it calmed down as the day progressed. Decent catch of vermilion snapper and trigger fish. Some grunts and porgies as well. Jackpot went to a 12lb almaco jack. The notable catch went to a 18-22lb cobia that wasn't in the Jackpot.
**all fish are iced down, we hang them for presentation to the docks - they are hanging for a maximum of 5 minutes**
Full day Saturday September 21st trip. Overall a great trip. Tons of vermilion snappers, with some white grunts, chocolate porgies, knobhead porgies, ringtail porgies, scup porgies, some trigger, a few amberjacks, and the special catch goes to 2 peanut mahi caught.
Friday September 20th full day trip. Fishing was a little slow and the under currents weren't cooperating with us but still landed some fish. Vermilion snapper and ringtail porgies. A few triggers, seabass and jacks as well. Special catch goes to the Africa pompano seen at the very start of the video.
*fish are iced down, only hung up for a max of 5 min*
Friday August 30th full day trip and kick off to labor day weekend. Semi lite load on the boat. Winds out of the SW at less than 7kt. Super calm seas but a hot one in the upper 80s low 90s. Surface temp of water 82. Fishing was a little slow but a few stops it was popping. Vermilion snapper, trigger, seabass, porgies, and grunts.
Full day trip Saturday August 24. Another rough day on the water. Winds were blowing 12 to 17kt out of the north east/east. Started off off shore for a few stops but under currents were making it difficult. Slowly worked our way back inshore some to get to better currents. Fishing was slow but the Captain made it happen the last cpl of stops. It only takes one good stop to really put some fish on the deck.
