Did you know The Louvre Pyramid is a glass and metal structure located in the main courtyard of the Louvre Museum in Paris, inaugurated in 1989. Designed by Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei, the pyramid is 21.6 meters tall and is made up of 673 glass panels. It functions as the main entrance to the museum, allowing natural light to enter the underground foyer. Although it initially generated controversy for its modern style in a historic setting, today it is an iconic symbol of Paris and one of the Louvre's most popular attractions.

A fun fact about the Louvre Pyramid is the myth of the 666 glass panels. For years, the belief that the pyramid was built with exactly 666 panels, a number associated with the "diabolical". However, this is just a myth: the pyramid actually has 673 glass panels. The error probably originated from the fascination with number symbolism, but it has persisted as an urban legend around this iconic structure.
