Exciting Update from Garrett High School's Career Development Program
We're thrilled to share the latest progress with the Garrett High School Trades program with the 1930's Tribute Race Car. Thanks to local race car builder Gary Babineau, who’s mentoring students along with teacher Tyler Gross, the chassis for this incredible build has made great progress with the students.
This project is more than just building a car — it’s about giving students real-world skills in welding, fabrication, and manufacturing while preparing them for careers right here in Indiana. With the support of local businesses and community partners, this initiative is helping students secure job placements and future opportunities.
The "Career Development IN Indiana" project is revving up, and we couldn't be more excited to see what’s next! Stay tuned for more updates as the students bring this classic car to life.
