We have been busy getting some work done at the office. Now it’s time to start focusing on the upcoming season!

Episode 13 of Season 9 airs this Sunday, June 30th on the Pursuit Channel "We Deliver The Outdoors" at 8:30 AM EST. This episode will wrap up season 9 and we can’t wait to bring season 10 to you as we are out working on filming it now.

This week we take a look back to season 5 for a couple of great hunts. We have Joey Charlton in Ohio chasing big bucks and then we have JJ Charlton out with the smoke pole doing a little late season doe management.

We start off with Joey in Ohio self-filming. This hunt is one of the best cat and mouse games we have ever played with a big buck. Joey sees and films this buck 2 times within 60 yards before finally making a move and getting an arrow through him at 25 yards on the third encounter. Harvesting a big buck with a bow is a challenge but self-filming adds an entirely new element. Joey does a great job with it on this hunt.

We then head out with JJ Charlton to West Virginia as he does a little late season doe management with his muzzleloader. JJ had a great season and then decided to do his part late season to thin out the doe heard. It’s amazing how much these kids have grown the last few years but it is always fun to look back and reminisce on their hunts.

Per your request and back by popular demand we’re going to reach back in the archives these next three weeks. We are going to show some of the past episodes from when the kids were younger and reminisce on some of our favorite hunts.

This week we are heading all the way back to season 3 with Easton and Jody Frye on a great Texas trip.

We start off with Easton as he gets some opportunities on some great bucks before he connects on one. We then join Jody as he lays the hammer down on a beautiful buck.

This week on Bone Shack Outdoors we are reairing an episode from earlier this season. When this hunt first aired there was a station mixup so we wanted to show the full episode again.

On this episode, the girls are up and are showing us how to get it done!

Jody and Joey both get a chance to take their daughters on a hunt. There is nothing like daddy daughter time in the deer stand.

We start off in West Virginia as Jody Frye and his daughter Madynn are out chasing whitetails. After a slow start to her hunt Madynn’s luck turns around as she lays the hammer down on a beautiful WV buck.

Then we head to Ohio with Joey Charlton and his daughter Natalie. This is Natalie’s first ever out of state hunt and she makes the most of it by tagging out on a great buck. If you love to see kids excited about the outdoors then you need to tune in and watch this hunt!

Episode 9 of season 9 is going to be a good one. We start off in Texas with Jody Frye as he is on an Axis hunt. Jody has had great success in TX on whitetails and now he can check Axis off his list. He makes a great shot and quick work of this hunt.

Then we are back in West Virginia with Joey Charlton as he is turkey hunting. On this hunt Joey didn’t have a camera man so he was self filming but that didn’t slow him down at all. Joey was able to call in this bird, make a great shot all while getting the entire hunt on film while self filming.

Episode 8 of season 9 finds us in Texas and Kansas hunting big old bucks.

We start off in Texas with owner Jody Frye. Jody took his annual trip with family In friends to Texas. Jody has had great success out there over the years. The old saying everything is bigger in TX holds true for the bucks Jody has harvested.

We then head to Kansas with our buddy Gary. Gary has been on several trips with us over the years and this year he decided he wanted to try his hand at self-filming. For those of you that have ever tried filming you know how tough it can be and Gary did a great job with it on this hunt.

This week we will air episode 7 of season 9! We start off with Easton Frye in TX and then we head to South Carolina with JJ and Parker Charlton.

Easton is hunting bucks in TX and he gets the job done quickly on a stud of a buck! We then head to SC as JJ and Parker are hunting hogs with thermal technology. Both were able to harvest great hogs with Upstate Hog Outfitters!

Episode 6 of season 9 airs this Sunday May 12th at 8:30 AM EST and it is going to be a good one!

We have Natalie Charlton on a whitetail hunt in West Virginia and then we head to Mexico with Marty Shaw and friends for an ocellated turkey hunt.

We start off in West Virginia as Natalie has her Xpedition Archery crossbow in hand out chasing deer. Natalie is a sharpshooter and this hunt happened really fast and she made quick work of it. 

We then head to Mexico with Marty and crew as they are chasing beautiful ocellated birds. These are some of the most beautiful turkeys you’ll ever see and it’s not too often there captured on film being harvested. Anytime Marty and his dad are hunting, the turkeys better beware!

Episode 5 finds us back in Texas. This week we have Easton Frye and Koby Bean aka “Red” out chasing big old bucks.

We start off with Easton as he lays the hammer down on a stud of a buck. Easton really enjoys these trips with his Dad and friends to TX. He has had some really good success out there the last several years and he makes quick work of it on this trip as well.

We then head over with our buddy Red as he is on his first trip to TX. Red has never had the opportunity to harvest a deer on video so this was a really cool experience for him Buckshot Outfitters, LLC.

This week Jody and Joey are up to bat. They have been the camera men for the kiddos the last few episodes and this week they are doing the hunting.

We start off with Jody in Texas. Jody and his family love TX and TX has always treated them well. Once again Jody lays down an absolute hammer of a buck. Everything happened really fast on this hunt and Jody was able to thread the needle and made a great shot on this gorgeous buck.

We then head to Illinois with Joey. Joey is self filming and has his Xpedition Archery bow in hand. The action rut was hot and Joey was able to get it done on a beautiful 9 point. Self filming is tough and it’s even harder when bow hunting but Joey was able to put it all together and lay down some good footage. He also gets a black eye along the way lol. Watch to see what happens.

We kick off episode 1 of Season 9 with our usual format of Easton Frey and JJ Charlton leading things off. These 2 are baseball teammates and both love the outdoors.

Easton is up first as he is in TX chasing whitetails. TX has always been great to Easton and this hunt is no different.

We are then in West Virginia as JJ is self filming a bow hunt while hunting out of his saddle. Self filming is tough especially when bow hunting but JJ makes it look easy!
