This was a challenging project, I was approached early August by HGTV to provide 5 balloons for their Rock the Block series, season 4 episode 1! Buy the end of the first in person meeting a storyline was developed, we dropped to 4 balloons and I had accepted the challenge. My first time of dealing with something like this…. I was ready to quit several times, they changed the storyline and the balloon requirements 3 or 4 times, we finally got the details worked out and agreed upon the compensation for all of the time I had invested 5 days before the shoot. We were dropped down 3 balloons. Nancy Luther Lambertson, Valerie Favicchio and myself. I would say that ultimately it was an absolutely amazing experience. They treated us to a great lunch on the set after the flight and we got a tour of the houses. I’ve been keeping it pretty tight on my side but…. The season debut is this coming Monday March 6th. We will be have a watch party at Berthoud Brewing’s Loveland location aka 5030. I want to thank everyone that helped me put this all together and all of the crew that came out and crewed that day!
