Our crews have offered fire suppression support to wild land fires in most States west of the Rocky Mountains. MQ Franco reforestation has provided firefighting crews through the Oregon Department of forestry to multiple agencies since 1986. Our crews have offered fire suppression support to wild land fires in most States west of the Rocky Mountains including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California,
Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada, California, and New Mexico. Our firm currently has 15 Type-2 hand crews distributed throughout five dispatch locations located with in the states of Oregon and Washington. With over a decade in the business and the magnitude of operations, our crews have had the opportunity to provide support in fire suppression activities that range from fuels reduction as part of severity stand by assignments, to initial attack, and fire suppression impact rehab projects. Our crews have acquired over a decade of experience of fire suppression and prevention activities which include: fuels reduction, fire line construction, mop up, back burn support, and rehab. Our management has also evolved to manage the preparation, management support, and logistical support of the operations that take place as a result of our fire program. In addition to our hand crew program, in 2007 we expanded to equipment management by providing two engines to the agency through the Engine/Tender agreement administered by the US Forest Service. Our equipment management program initiated with two engines but has now expanded its capability to six engines which includes 2 type 3 engines, 6 type-6 engines and 1 type-4 engine. The engine program has allowed our management to engage in a different aspect of fire prevention and fire suppression by enabling us to view a more diverse range of activities involved in firefighting. Our crews have also benefited from our resource sharing program which allows firefighters to participate in both engine and fire crews which enables them to obtain experience in a broader diversity of projects and tactics. Our training and programs are designed to motivate work ethics and work quality. The fundamental principles of our organization are based on our commitment to satisfy our commitments to our clients, and our crew performance evaluations are a reflection of the work ethics and professionalism that our crews and organization represent.
