Hawaiiās black sand beaches are magicalā¦ finely crushed lava rock that contrasts beautifully with the blue and white waves breaking on the shore. Many of these beaches also have opportunities to explore impressive lava tubes which are cave formations created by molten lava. Definitely make these a top priority during your visit to Hawaii!

One of my absolute favorite hotels at Walt Disney World is the Animal Kingdom Lodge which is set on a 33 acre wildlife preserve. Giraffes, kudu, zebras, and many more species call this preserve home and give guests a *tiny* glimpse into the beauty of Africa.
I like to visit this resort for dinner and then go animal spotting at night when the animals are often more active. Itās a must-do for animal lovers!
I arrived at Universal Orlando yesterday and Iām so excited to explore!
Disney World is kind of known for its amazing dining options for individuals with food allergies! I love that they offer clearly marked allergen-friendly foods and the option to speak with a chef if you feel uncertain or need extra help. Each restaurant has different theming and options, but three of my gluten free favs throughout the parks and resorts are:
-beignets with strawberry sauce (yes, gluten free beignets!)
-Moroccan-spiced Beef (you need this in your life!)
-the dinner rolls (it seems so simple but if you are gf then you KNOW how difficult it can be to find good bread!)

Colombia is AMAZING! My eyes filled with tears more than once while we were walking around Getsemani this afternoon. Itās beautiful and I feel so grateful to be here.
In just 8 days I will be in Cartagena, Colombia! We will be taking dance lessons, exploring historic Getsemani, enjoying rum and coffee tastings, visiting Rosario Islands, and so much more! I cannot wait to share this incredible country with you.

Pro-tip for travel in Mexico! On my first morning in Mexico, I woke up to a rustling noise in my room. Way-too-early housekeeping? An intruder, perhaps? I called out and no one responded. Then I realized that my fridge was open. Would an intruder be only interested in my snacks? I got up to investigate and discovered an adorable, mischievous coati in my room who had ignored the half-eaten banana and was, instead, after my bag of chips! I started to shoo him out and realized he had brought his WHOLE FAMILY WITH HIM! They were waiting behind the curtains and on the patio. Cutest intruders ever! Moral of the story- be sure that your patio door is properly locked because these guys have been known to sneak in and help themselves. Transportation choices can make or break a trip! During my trip to Mexico, I enjoyed luxury transfers by Lomas to and from the airport in a Lincoln Navigator. When I was delayed in immigration, Lomas waited an hour for me. And when I was dropped off at the Cancun airport to fly home, they even came inside with me, printed my boarding pass, helped me check my bag, and directed me towards security. One of the BEST parts of traveling is getting to meet the people and experience the culture. All-inclusive resorts are amazing and relaxing, but I encourage all of my clients to venture out at least once to see what is beyond the property gates. When I was in Mexico, another advisor and I took a taxi into Playa del Carmen and happened upon demonstrations of ancient Mayan and Aztec rituals. These people were passionate about keeping their cultures alive.
