Important Travel Update for 2025 🇬🇧

Starting on January 8 2025, travelers from visa-exempt countries (like the US, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and more) will need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to visit the UK.

Here’s what you need to know:

✔️ Who needs it?
All visitors, including children, who do not have a visa or other UK immigration status will need to present a completed ETA when entering the region, even when just transiting through the UK. Check the gov.uk website

✔️ Cost: £10

✔️ Validity: Multiple entries for 2 years or until your passport expires (whichever comes first).

✔️ What can you do with an ETA?
Stay for up to 6 months for tourism, business, short-term study, or visiting loved ones.

✔️ How to apply:
Complete the online form through a downloadable phone app or web browser. Find ‘UK ETA’ through the app store on your phone/tablet, or visit their website. Here, you will be asked to 1. provide contact and passport details, 2. provide a valid photo that complies with the digital requirements, and 3. answer a set of questions.

Travelers can start applying in advance, starting on November 27, 2024. The application process is easy, and takes about 3 business days for approval.
