The first Tuesday of every month - which is tomorrow - Austin dual sport adventure riders get together for a fun meet-and-greet. It's open to all. Hope to see you there.

The Austin monthly meet-and-greet is the first Tuesday of the month at Buffalo Wild Wings, 901 Little Texas Ln Building D, Austin, TX 78745 from 6 - 8 pm. Link to google maps. All riders are welcome and encouraged to join us. Ride your motorcycle if you want. Drive your car if that works...

Training for the Big Bend 400 continues. On Saturday, Jan 6th, I will be doing a 7-hour hill country ride on the dirt roads around Llano. I am extending an invitation to anyone who would like to join me to ride some or all of my planned route. Meet me at the courthouse in Llano at 9:30 am with a full tank of gas. Stands up at 10 am.

I have two loops planned for Saturday. The 150-mile-long north loop leaves Llano and goes to San Saba and back (via dirt). The other loop is a 135-mile-long loop west of Llano (and also includes as much dirt as possible).

My goal is to complete both loops in no more than 7 hours.

I am planning on riding my Honda CB500X adventure bike.
