I find some of this a little silly!
If you do any little bit of research you will be better prepared for many of these instances and also why is she driving herself?!
I was there in April and it was an incredible experience that I was pretty well prepared for even as a first timer.

As you can read, there are quite a few things you might overlook when preparing for your trip. My recommendation is working with an experienced advisor, if we can't answer it we know who to reach out to and get the answer.

Going on safari is a special and exciting experience that can be a bit pricey depending on your itinerary, let's get it right so you only take home beautiful memories and not a should've or could've list.

After a week on safari in South Africa in three game reserves, I learned from mistakes such as leaving my car door unlocked and not packing a buff.

Last night I attended a dinner with a Maui Hawaii representative as well as one from the Maui Ocean Center, The Aquarium of Hawaii .
Yes I came home with quite a few goodies (can't wait to cut into that pineapple) but the focus was bringing tourism back to maui.

Maui needs us to visit....unfortunately the media scared so many away but we need to spend our dollars supporting the locals. We need to especially support the local businesses that kept the people, who lost so much, fed and supported this past year!

I know we all have our sights set on Europe and beyond these days, but if Maui has ever been a dream or if you are ready to go back please don't postpone the trip thinking there is too much damage or you don't want to get in the way.

Let's support this beautiful island and it's rich culture that has so much warmth and joy to share. I would love to tell you about special packages available or local businesses that gave what they could during a horrible loss and could use your tourism dollars.

These texts make me so happy!!
I plan many European itineraries and there are quite a few moving parts that go into making it a memorable vacation for everyone so hearing that it all turned out exactly as you hoped is a wonderful feeling!

I know everyone thinks I just travel all the time at this point but there is so much learning behind all of it.... whether it's meeting many different suppliers at a conference and finding the right fit or exploring an area so I can share with my clients the ins and outs.
If you are really still in the mindset of "why use an advisor" I suggest you try once and see all that we offer , what's the harm?!

Such an incredible show of mother nature!
Pictures don't compare to the power you feel of the water in person.
Squished away soaked through but actually dried out quickly during lunch overlooking all the adventure activities you can experience.

Finished out our day with a cruise on the Zambezi from our hotel and it was such a lovely way to end the trip!

Three gorgeous properties in one collection are represented here in S. Africa Winelands.

Leeu Estates, a five-star premium 24-room country house and boutique winery in the Franschhoek valley; Leeu House, an exclusive hotel in the heart of Franschhoek village with 12-rooms and Suite; and Le Quartier Français, a romantic 25-room hotel also located in the village.

This area is a must visit when you are in Capetown and you will want to stay at least one night.... preferably two!

I know I have stayed at some wonderful properties but this one absolutely stands out!

The Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel is located in the center of Capetown and one of the oldest 5 stars in the country.

~ High end Luxury without being pretentious
~ Warm and inviting
~Amazing attention to detail everywhere, nothing is overlooked
~The best staff and service I've ever experienced!! From the smiles to the warm hellos to making sure you had everything you could possibly need, I can't say enough!

I honestly didn't want to leave this one, I recommend spending at least a day just experiencing the property and all they offer.

First day in Capetown and mother nature was showing off.
Definitely not an ideal day (wind was crazy) but we pushed on to see what we could. I absolutely learned so much and yet it felt like it barely touched the surface. To think apartheid was just ended on freedom day in 1994, not very long ago.

Sorry to interrupt all the eclipse posts lol but I wanted to share a quick video from Camps Bay beach today!

More about our day to come but the wind was pretty crazy so no luck going up to Table Mountain soooo.... we try again tomorrow!
Weather is pretty unpredictable and going with the flow as well as being able to pivot is key. Our guide has been wonderful and we still had a packed day.

Norwegian Cruise Line seems to be taking a lot of grief for not waiting on the guests that were late returning from an excursion.
I don't understand the media attention this is receiving... planes do not wait for you, trains do not wait for you. You are told numerous times while on board a cruise that they can not wait for you.

What are your thoughts on the attention this is receiving?
