Our kitchens aren't perfect, our schedules are hectic, and we don't have a sous chef. But we've got stories to tell, recipes to share, and a place at the table for each other. A community marketplace for home cooks to offer, discover, and register for cooking classes where deliciously authentic food lives--in home kitchens. Whether through a hands-on tamale-making workshop, a farmers' market tour

+ seasonal cooking class, a basic knife skills demo, the secrets of gluten-free baking, or anything else you can cook up, Kitchen Underground connects home cooks and offers our community the opportunity to share culinary knowledge in the real-life setting of the home kitchen.

I could eat these everyday. They are a bit fancy as they are poached but worth the trouble! First boil the shells f 1 LB. Shrimp in 3 C. Water and tsp salt for 20 min. Remove shells and add 1 C. White wine, 6 peppercorns, 5 coriander seeds, a bay leaf, some fresh parsley and tarragon and a squeeze of lemon. Bring to boil. Turn off and dump in shrimp and let steep for 8 min. Drain. Plunge in ice. Make sure me yummy cocktail sauce and go to town! Recipe:
