Austin Passport Express is a Travel Document Company handling various services related to expedited US passports, travel visas, document authentication and legalizations, translations, FBI reports, fingerprinting, etc. Located in the downtown area of Austin, TX we service clients from around the globe. We have helped thousands of happy customers and adding more each day.
We assist our customers get the documents they need at the speed they need them to meet various travel related goals.
We are looking for a Document Specialist to provide prompt, courteous service to customers both on the phone and in person.
Job Description
What would you do? – The Specifics
• Ensure high quality customer service.
• Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the office.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with our protocols.
• Process and understand passport related rules and guidelines.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits etc.
• Check on order status and notify customers when orders are in or of any delays.
• Take accurate and detailed passport and visa photos.
• Capture both ink and digital fingerprints.

• Clear and confident customer service skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Punctual with a consistent attendance record.
• Basic Computer knowledge (Adobe, Microsoft Suite).
Schedule:
Full Time
Monday-Friday
9am-5pm
Most Major Holidays Off
Education: High school or Associates Degree (Preferred)
Experience: Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
Work Remotely: No
Pay: $15-$20 an hour based on experience with room to grow quickly
