The Town of Awendaw will have a FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION, on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 4 p.m to 6 p.m. at the Awendaw Municipal Park located at 7900 Doar Road, Awendaw, SC 29429. This event is open to ALL in the community in need of food. The drive will go as long as supplies last. Please spread the word and thank you in advance!

Good Afternoon!
We are aware that some of our residents may have an odor coming from the water. The water is safe and drinkable. We are in the process of flushing our lines and this matter should be corrected no later than Monday morning. We apologize greatly for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

The boil water advisory has been lifted!

Happy Friday! The Town of Awendaw is aware that some of our citizens were without water this morning due to the pressure dropping. The water has been turned on and pressure is coming back however we are releasing a boil water advisory to all our water customers until further notice.
