Scamp Trailers, manufactured in Backus, MN, are lightweight, durable, and aerodynamic travel trailers available in 13, 16, and 19ft sizes, designed for easy towing. On that date, the company Eveland's Incorporated was official. manufactured a small fiberglass travel trailer called a Boler for a small outfit out of Canada. Financially Boler was forced to shut the doors and under the reign of Duane

Eveland the Scamp Trailer was born. From the beginning, trailers were sold as "put together yourself" kits. The trailers started being manufactured and assembled in the factory after a couple years. New ideas were flying around for Eveland's Inc. such as a small motorhome, scamp on a pontoon, and a towable fifth wheel. The small motorhomes were made in the years of 1985-1986. During these years, 15-30 motorhomes were assembled on Dodge Dakotas, Chevrolet S10's, midsized Fords, and midsized Toyotas. Since then the trailers have evolved into structurally infinint travel trailer.

From Highway 101, take Exit 6 onto Cardinals Way. Head west to 99th Ave. Turn left at the stoplight onto 99th Ave. At the next stoplight, turn right onto Montebello. Turn right at the stop sign into the Park Aldea complex parking lot. You’ll find us in Suite 160.

Introducing the newest members of the Scamp Family, Lyle, Jessica, Carson and Carlee!

Lyle grew up near San Diego, California, and was stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix before moving to Minnesota. It was there that he met Jessica, who grew up just a few miles down the road from Scamp in Backus, MN. The two married in 2007 and eventually made their home in Phoenix, Arizona.

Together, they have two wonderful kids, Carlee and Carson, and share a passion for camping, fishing, and nature. They also run bass fishing tournaments in Arizona, combining their love for the outdoors with their competitive spirit. Each year, they make the trip back to Minnesota to camp, reconnect with family, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Lyle and Jessica are thrilled to embark on this new adventure with Scamp, as it perfectly complements their love for the outdoors and their sense of adventure. They can’t wait to welcome you to Scamp Phoenix!

Scamp Phoenix is now open Monday - Friday from 8:00a - 4:30p
