Everyone is always asking where the fish is , are they biting, where should I go!
What's the best place to take my kids?
Let me try to answer.
For generations it's been called fishing, not catching.
I don't mind telling people where to fish and what bait to use. But some of us grew up fishing and learning.

Remember that old saying " give a man to fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he eats for a life time"?

I’ll add" teach him to fish on his own he grows to be a self sufficient, patient man who can take anything the world can throw at him, or her"!
Like gambling,l never expect to win every time. I expect to learn from my environment, not my Internet.

We need to teach the younger generation that you don't always win. You don't always get a trophy. And sometimes you have to eat just beans!

But learn from the trip, learn from the fish, learn from the weather, the bait. Sometimes you lose, but losing can also be a learning experience.

You learn that in nature you get to sit with God for a while and you may just learn to be a better human.

🌲If you are not a morning person, plan a hike in the afternoon. Nothing compares to a great view and good feelings.

🌲Enjoy a competitive game of pool or darts with friends.
🌲Relish Reeling in a Large Bass or Crappie/ Bluegill in our stocked lakes. Or plan a hog hunting adventure!
