Heading into Day 4 of our tournament, we already have boats planning to meet us right at scales opening. Sounds like the 10am-11am hour will be the hottest today. If you haven’t already, you should definitely download our app to receive notifications for when fish are heading our way. Spectators this week mentioned they came because they received the alerts.

With increased sightings in Southern Maine, we are reminding ocean goers that for any shark sightings in Harpswell, please contact the Cumberland County Regional Communication Center - Maine at 1-800-501-1111 at the time of the sighting. If possible, a picture using your cell phone may help officials confirm the species observed.

Should any confirmed great white sightings occur near one of Harpswell's Public Beaches, a purple shark flag will be raised to alert swimmers of the sighting for 24 hours.
