After a warm day yesterday, back to more normal conditions today for early spring. Some light rain showers develops this evening across the Southern Tier and may be some snow mixing in at times up in the hills. Warmer weather begins to return tomorrow with well above average temperatures by the weekend.

Wow

The WCDO Athlete of the Week for 2/24 to 3/1 is Connor Davy from the Bainbridge-Guilford Indoor T&F team. He is one of the best athletes in the area! Connor took 1st place at the Section IV State Qualifier in the 55-meter dash with a school record time of 6.48 seconds. He is extremely close to breaking the all-time Section IV record in the 55 too!

WE CANNOT WAIT for the chili cook off tomorrow!!

Here’s some FAQ:

You can start at any of the businesses participating, but you have to end at The Backdoor Bar!

You will pay $5 at your first business only to taste all your chilis and receive a tasting passport, which you will get stamped at each place you’re tasting!

Once you receive all stamps, you can vote for the best chili (and most original!) at the Backdoor, where you’ll also get $1 off a drink!

TIME TO PARTICIPATE TOMORROW IS 11 am - 2 pm ONLY! Winners will be announced shortly after
