NOW THAT WAS FAST!! ❤️ It’s true…. A very lucky couple will take possession mid October. Details will be when they are ready to make the announcement. Some of my wood beams and other scraps from my demo went home with “mom” to make her outdoor bar. The sanding and staining made the circular saw marks pop. This wood is from the late 1800s to early 1900s and what a story it would tell if it could talk!

This is a “honey stop the car” destination when you visit. The renovation of the historic building is amazing and the food is delicious!

On the basketball court, Jenny Mowe was a fearsome sight.

But in the kitchen, Mowe is a friendly sweetheart. And that’s likely where you’ll find her these days, working at Sweet Wife Baking, her pastry shop and restaurant in downtown Baker City.
