Business of the Year
This award honors a local business that has made significant contributions to the Baker County community or has served the region in exceptional ways over several years. Eligible businesses must demonstrate successful practices, provide meaningful support and participation in community events, and showcase innovation and job creation. The business must also be domiciled in Baker County.
Excellence in Agriculture
This award recognizes an individual in Baker County who has shown exceptional leadership within the agricultural community. The recipient demonstrates a steadfast commitment to improving rural life, a passion for agriculture, and efforts to strengthen the industry through innovation and collaboration.
Project/Event of the Year
This award celebrates a project or event that has had a meaningful and lasting impact on the Baker County community. Recognized projects or events will demonstrate creativity, effective organization, and excellent ex*****on, fostering community engagement, economic growth, or cultural enrichment.
Entrepreneur of the Year
This award honors an entrepreneur whose vision, determination, and innovation have led to the successful creation or growth of a business between January 1, 2021, and December 1, 2024. The recipient serves as an inspiration through their ability to overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and contribute positively to the community.
Woman of the Year
This award recognizes a woman who has made significant contributions of time, energy, and service outside her professional life, without seeking personal gain. The recipient actively participates in community, church, or other service organizations, going above and beyond to create a lasting and positive impact on Baker County. Nominees must reside in or have a business within the county and demonstrate exemplary personal character.
Man of the Year
This award recognizes a man who has made significant contributions of time, energy, and service outside his professional life, without seeking personal gain. The recipient actively participates in community, church, or other service organizations, going above and beyond to create a lasting and positive impact on Baker County. Nominees must reside in or have a business within the county and demonstrate exemplary personal character.
Legacy Woman of the Year
This award celebrates a woman who has made extensive contributions to Baker County over her lifetime. The recipient must have a minimum of 25 years of involvement in the community, although current activity is not required. This award honors leadership, professionalism, stewardship, and an enduring impact on Baker County.
