Kicking off with the craft of the week is papel picado.🎨 🎉 Papel Picado is a traditional Mexican craft that involves cutting intricate designs into sheets of tissue paper. This decorative craft is especially popular during Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Mexican Independence Day celebrations, but it is also used for weddings, birthdays, and other festive occasions. The vibrant colors and detailed patterns of papel picado add a festive touch to any celebration.
This craft is so easy that it only consists of two materials, tissue paper and scissors.
Instructions are provided in the video, however do not keep it limited to the video, be creative!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Frosting
- Powdered Sugar
- Bowl
- Spoon (can also use a mixer)
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Add half of the tub of frosting into the bowl
2.) Add a cup of powdered sugar into the bowl
3.) Mix with spoon or mixer
4.) Add more powdered sugar as needed (we added about half a cup more)
5.) Knead with your hand until a not sticky consistency is achieved!
6.) Have fun!😆
