With four different porches with four different views, you will hardly want to come inside. But indoors, the home, purchased in 2020, underwent a full interior reno

vation by Sarah Scott Designs in 2021. The home is just a short walk to the beach, and a golf cart ride to 16 other unspoiled beaches, preserved maritime forests and marsh hiking trails. Our home sleeps 10 adults in four bedrooms (one in a private crofter), and a fifth game room/office with a pull out sofa, and has five full bathrooms. Your rental includes two golf carts-- a four-seater and a six-seater. When you board the ferry for the 20-minute ride to Bald Head Island, you leave your car behind, along with the stress of the mainland world. Transportation here is limited to golf carts, bikes, or your own two feet… resulting in a more relaxed, easy-going pace. Stroll 14 miles of pristine beaches, try your luck on the acclaimed seaside golf course, eat at fabulous restaurants, or climb a 200 year old lighthouse. It is a place like no other, and we hope you will soon be our guests.

Our 2025 calendar is open and we have a few weeks left! We’ve added a second King suite for this season, redecorated the crofter suite, redone our front deck (the most amazing views on island remain unchanged),  and painted the entire exterior to a new swoon-worthy blue grey. Our Story

Located in the Harbour Village, this 3-story home enjoys beautiful marsh and creek views from the first floor, and river and beach views from the upper levels. Sit on the front porch in rockers to enjoy village life, or on the back porch looking out over the marsh to get away from it all. The home is just a short walk to the bustling marina and the harbor beach, and a golf cart ride to 16 other unspoiled beaches, preserved maritime forests and marsh hiking trails. Our guests can purchase temporary memberships at the two island clubs. The Bald Head Island Golf, Tennis and Swim Club includes an incredible new pool complex, an award-winning golf course (green fees not included), tennis courts, a state of the art gym, and formal, informal and poolside dining. Our guests may also select a temporary membership at the Shoals Club, which we are happy to coordinate for you. The Shoals Club is located at East beach in a superb ocean side setting. It offers both a main pool and smaller child's pool with beautiful ocean views, as well as complementary beach chairs and umbrellas. Informal pool side and restaurant dining are available.
