Ahoy, Baltimore friends! 🚢
Captain Bobby here to share an incredible opportunity you won’t want to miss! The NS SAVANNAH, the world’s first nuclear-powered merchant ship, is hosting an open house on Saturday, February 22, right here in Baltimore!
Alicia and I had the privilege of touring this one-of-a-kind ship a few years ago, and let me tell you—it’s like stepping into a time capsule of the Atomic Age! From the beautifully preserved spaces to the cutting-edge (for its time) technology, this ship is an unforgettable piece of maritime history.
The open house runs from 10 am to 3 pm with self-guided tours, and you can even sign up for guided tours of the Reactor Compartment and Engine Room once you’re aboard. Plus, there are Q&A sessions at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
Don’t miss the chance to explore this marvel of engineering and learn about its fascinating history!
