It's been a beautiful week here at C&L with lots of moving parts, and the weekend is mere minutes away. This afternoon, we had a busy crew working on our Citation teardowns. Here, you can see Dale and Travers as they apply protective window blanks to cover the hole created when the windshield itself was removed. Just feet away, Mike is removing another windshield and David is getting ready to close things up for the weekend. Happy Friday.

Fresh out of the crate. Our landing gear shop just started overhauling this ERJ 145 gear and they are moving it along fast. Here, Tarah, Colin, Mark, and Jason are working together to remove seals and dismantle it so that it can cleaned and blasted ahead of nondestructive testing. Once it's cleared, it'll be rebuilt and sent back into service with a brand-new finish. You won't want to miss the after photos.

C&L Aerospace has entered into a long-term strategic agreement that facilitates the disassembly of end-of-life business jet aircraft. C&L will begin by initially disassembling 13 aircraft through the remainder of 2024. Parts from these aircraft will support various Cessna Citation models, including Excel (XL), XLS, XLS+, (560), Sovereign (680), and Latitude (680A). We're excited to announce our new venture into modern art. Last week, an art exhibit consisting of a banana taped to a wall sold for $6.2 million at auction. It inspired us to explore the space where art meets aviation. C&L's new exhibit 'The Ignitor' will be on display until a buyer comes forward for this unique piece of contemporary art history. So far, our guests find it appealing.
