🍯 DIY Natural Cough Syrup Recipe with Taste of Bardstown Market 🍋

Soothe your throat and support your wellness with this simple, homemade remedy using local and fresh ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 cup Pure Kentucky Honey from Heaven Sent Honey Farm, LLC.
1-2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated or sliced
2 fresh lemons, juiced

Instructions:
1️⃣ In a small saucepan, combine the honey and ginger. Heat gently on low (do not boil) for 5-10 minutes to infuse the honey with the ginger's benefits.
2️⃣ Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Add the fresh lemon juice and stir until combined.
3️⃣ Strain if desired, and store in a glass jar with a lid. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

How to Use:
Take 1-2 teaspoons as needed for cough relief or stir into warm tea for a soothing drink.
