Since 1968, Travel House has helped residents of Barrington and beyond design travel experiences with outstanding quality and value. Whether you want to see the Seychelles, check out the cherry blossoms in Japan, or take the family to Disney, the advisors at Travel House will help you plan the perfect trip, your dream vacation, or business trip. Owner Eleanor Nelson purchased the business i

n 1989 from a gentleman who was retiring.

Half of Eleanor’s staff have worked with her since she purchased Travel House, earning their status as some of the most well-traveled advisors in the business. Eleanor herself travels to two or three brand new destinations per year, and rarely returns to the same place twice. She is particularly well-versed in travel to Asia, and says that Myanmar will be her next trip. Traveling several months per year enables Eleanor to stay on top of travel trends and new properties.
