Basalt Postcard of the Week: It is back! As is tradition, the Town of Basalt's Basalt Sunday Market, kicked off on Father's Day. The seasonal market is a great place to pick up local food, crafts and get to know your farmer too. This first week was also in the new Basalt River Park. Now we can officially call it summertime in Basalt!

Basalt Postcard of the Week: The new bandshell in the Town of Basalt Basalt River Park has been going up this week. The design was inspired by the Frying Pan Coke Ovens, or aka Basalt Historic Charcoal Kilns near Arbaney Park.
And in case you missed it - mark your calendars for the Basalt Summer Concert series, which starts Wednesday, June 21 in Willits. The first concert in the river park (and the new bandshell!) will be on Wednesday, July 12, featuring Mana Lingua and Dragondeer, from 5:30-8:30 pm. Then there will be a concert EVERY Wednesday through August 30.
Basalt Postcard of the Week: Congratulations to the runners of the 46th Annual Basalt Half Marathon & Relay which was held on Saturday June 3, 2023. The race proceeds benefit the Basalt High School Cross Country program.

Basalt Postcard of the Week: The new Basalt River Park is coming together, and the bandshell is under construction. This summer the park will be filled with programming, including breaking in the new bandshell with the return of the Basalt Summer Concert Series!
The lineup will be announced shortly, so mark your calendars for Wednesday Night concerts in Willits June 21 and 28, and in the Basalt River Park, starting July 12 and running through August 30. Stay tuned!
